How an engagement runs

   Most projects run 50% at kickoff and 50% at completion. Selected projects may qualify for a monthly build plan — an initial payment followed by fixed monthly payments.

   It's cared for as it goes

   During a monthly build term, hosting, monitoring, and maintenance may be included, so the system is looked after from day one.

3. iii.

   It becomes yours

   The custom code transfers to you once the agreed project investment is paid in full. From there, take a packaged handoff or stay with us.

Questions people ask

How much does a project cost?

Projects are scoped around the problem, its complexity, and the value of the work — not a fixed price list. Most run 50% at kickoff and 50% at completion, and selected projects may qualify for a monthly build plan. Final terms are always defined in the proposal.

Do you work with smaller businesses?

Yes. Hyde & Co. works primarily with growing small and midsize businesses that have meaningful technology needs but don't need a full in-house technology team. When the right solution is larger than the immediate budget, the work can often be phased around the highest-value priority first.

Are monthly payment plans available?

For selected projects, yes. A monthly build plan is an initial payment followed by fixed monthly payments toward the remaining cost. Availability is evaluated case by case and confirmed in the proposal.

What do I own?

Your business data, your domain, and your client-owned accounts are always yours. The custom code built for your project transfers to you once the agreed investment is paid in full. Third-party software, plugins, and platforms remain governed by their own original licenses.

Do I have to host with Hyde & Co.?

No. Once the project is paid in full you can take a packaged handoff to yourself or another provider. Many clients choose to stay for managed hosting and ongoing technical support because it keeps earning its place — but it's a choice, never a requirement.

What happens after launch?

You can continue with an ongoing care plan: managed hosting, security and uptime monitoring, backups, routine maintenance, and time each month for small updates and guidance. Larger features or new projects are scoped separately.

Does unused monthly support time roll over?

No. Included time resets each month and is meant for small changes and guidance rather than unlimited development. Anything larger gets its own estimate.
